FAQs

How Do I Order?

Pre-ordered pickups are purchased through Hotplate. Pre-ordered pickups are available at the bakery address on Thursdays from 2pm-7pm. (Address is shown upon checkout.) Days and time are subject to change, please check Instagram and Facebook for any date changes. You can order here.

Why Do You Only Do Pre-Orders?

Currently demands are only needed for a once a week pickup time and date. The sourdough process is very long and can take anywhere from 3-4 days to prepare. Loaves are cold fermented for 24 hours before baking.

How Do Pickups Work?

On the day of your pickup, your order will be packaged and placed outside under a canopy with your name attached to the item(s). Please double check the order on your confirmation and locate the items with your name on it. Customers will receive the address upon purchase. Please ensure orders are collected at the scheduled day and time, as any unclaimed bread will be donated.

Do You Deliver?

Unfortunately I do not deliver at this time. As demand increases, it may be an option in the future!

Do You Offer Gluten-Free Sourdough?

Unfortunately not at this time. If you are gluten sensitive, please consider reading more about how sourdough bread is more digestible than regular bread here.

How Do I Keep My Bread Fresh?

First off, keeping bread in the fridge can make it go stale faster. I recommend keeping your bread in a reusable ziplock bag or a bread box or a cotton bag. Bread with inclusions do not spoil faster simply because the sourdough is fermented so it can withstand room temperature longer than typical bread. My breads also freezes VERY well. I highly recommend cutting the loaf in half and freezing them if you don't believe you will be consuming within the week or are going away on vacation. Simply take the frozen bread out the night before you want to consume! If your bread is stale, you can simply run it under water and heat up in an oven at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes!

What Is A CFO?

A cottage food operator is someone who makes food at home to sell. There are rules about what kinds of food they can make and where they can sell it. This allows people to start small food businesses without needing a professional kitchen or meeting lots of regulations.

What Is Your Refund Policy?

Each custom sourdough bread order is crafted with attention and affection, aiming for your complete satisfaction.

Please note that once an order is placed, refunds or returns are not possible if a customer changes their mind or cancels after Monday for Thursday pickups, or if they fail to collect their order for any reason. Unclaimed bread will not be kept for customers and will be donated instead.
